The Printing Proofs Look Fantastic!

Everyone!
I just approved the proofs for the book. This means printing will begin shortly. I've asked the printer for a more specific timeline, but based on previous estimates, we're looking at having fulfillment (i.e. books in your hands) in May.
While the printer is working, I'm also finishing up the Action and Maneuver Cards, and then its on to wrapping up the digital content package. Everything should be ready to release at the same time.

Keep in mind that these are unbound proofs. Obviously, the book will look more like a book with the white margins cut off.
Cover (the lines are just showing where the folds will be)
The cover proof came in two layers. The plastic that you see is the spot gloss layer, showing where the title text will be shinier than the matte coating of the cover.

Hardcover Books!

An announcement that I hope most of you will appreciate. I have decided that a book of this magnitude and quality deserves a hardcover upgrade. All books will be printed hardcover instead of softcover.
This upgrade will be 100% free for backers receiving physical copy of the book, as well as preorders of the book. I will bear the added expense as an investment into future sales. Besides, this project has always been a personal endeavor of mine, and has never been about profit.
I also hope that this can help make up for the projects many delays, for which I feel a great deal of responsibility.
Layout Update
The layout is 99% complete. Just finishing up the last details, such as the table of contents and credits pages. However, because of the holidays, arrangements with the printer won't begin until January. I will provide another update at that time.
Final page count is 324. Here are a few preview spreads for your perusal:

Hey everyone,
Survived another hurricane a couple weeks ago. The house was spared, but we lost power for three days. All things considered, progress is being made at a steady pace.

Hello all,
Just a quick update to let you know I'm still alive. I was fortunate enough to live on the outskirts of where hurricane Florence hit. I wish a quick recovery to any who were affected.
Still, conventions and hurricanes have been distracting. So I'm really trying to push this game to the finish before any more distractions come up.
