We still have three days to reach for stretch goals, starting with a Kickstarter exclusive maneuver card and a couple high-resolution desktop backgrounds if we reach $8,000.
And now that we're funded, we should catch a bit more attention from passersby online. In addition, the last couple days of any campaign can be huge, and anything can happen. It may be a long shot, but I'd say there's still a chance we can make it to $10,000 and unlock the free upgrade to hardcover. Wouldn't that be awesome!
This project is a work of passion. I want to make it abundantly clear that I'm not in this for the profit. In fact, I would be pleasantly surprised if I make a cent off of this.
I'm creating this because I want to make something people will love to play. To that end, I have poured hours, weeks, and months of my life into this project already (though most of that time I've been having fun). I've done (and am continuing to do) everything I can to keep backer prices down without sacrificing quality or going broke myself.
All that said, I want to thank you all again for your support. Without you, I never would have gotten this chance.

We're 5 days away from the end of the campaign. That's plenty of time to push us over the edge. But to get us there even faster...
Any backer that wishes to have their core book signed can add $10 to their pledge for each book.
Backers at the "Virtual Pythos with the Creator" and "Legendary Hero" levels will have their books signed for free.
"Virtual Pythos" reduced to $150: To get more backers interested in this level, the price has been reduced by a whopping 25% in addition to the free signature for their book.
"Legendary Hero" Card Set: In addition to the free signature for their book, backers at the "Legendary Hero" level will receive a set of cards featuring the legendary characters that they created.
The $8,000 stretch goal for signed books has been replaced with a Kickstarter exclusive Standard Maneuver Card for all backers receiving at least one physical product.

Hello everyone!
Three is a sacred number, so this update has three parts.
First, I wanted to point out the fact that we are very much on the way to funding successfully! As of writing this, we are 73% funded with just under half of the campaign time to go. Three times three is the number of days remaining.
As we approach the home stretch, don't forget that sharing via word-of-mouth and the share button on Kickstarter & social media goes a long way toward getting more support.
The rewards for backers at the "PDF Package" and above will include full-size 8000x10000 pixel images of both the Pythos World Map and the Acragaia Citadel Map.
What is the Acragaia? This city fortress is a key site in Pythos. It physically exists in multiple locations at the same time, with each of its many gates opening to a completely different region of the world. Since its creation, it has become a cultural and technological nexus, where strange and powerful magic permeates the background of everyday life.

If you're in the US, you may disregard this update.
(Please message me when you take this deal to avoid any potential confusion later on.)
Shipping costs are tricky, but I did some math and can make things quite a bit less expensive for any of you that want to get a bunch of extra sets of cards (for say a whole gaming group):
If you back at a pledge level that has its own shipping cost ($25 and up), AND you pay shipping for one more pack of cards, you can get as many more packs of cards as you'd like without paying more for shipping.
For example: You pledge for the Game Master Package at $60 + $29 worldwide shipping, plus you add 6 sets of Action cards and 1 set of Maneuver cards for $60 + $12, plus $11 shipping for one of those add-on decks. That totals to $172, and you save $66 on shipping. (Obviously those shipping numbers are lower if you're in Canada)
Unfortunately, this deal only works for card set add-ons. Unless I figure something else out, you'll still have to pay full shipping for add-on books.
